DSSSB typing skill test (Post Codes 802/23, 809/24, etc.) requires candidates to achieve a net typing speed of at least 35 WPM in English or 30 WPM in Hindi over 10 minutes. Under official DSSSB RTI disclosures (Advt 63/12, 44/21), each mistake carries a 5-word deduction (0.5 WPM penalty). Net speed is calculated as: Net WPM = Gross WPM − (Mistakes × 0.5). Backspace and arrow navigation are enabled.
Candidates must achieve at least 35 Net WPM in English (10,500 KDPH) or 30 Net WPM in Hindi (9,000 KDPH) over 10 minutes.
Under official DSSSB RTI responses, each mistake incurs a penalty of 5 words (0.5 WPM deduction over 10 minutes). Net speed must remain at or above 35 WPM after deducting all penalties.
Yes, candidates can use backspace to edit and correct typed characters within the active input area.
